Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported that Iran’s agricultural products exports during the first three months of the current Iranian fiscal year (started March 21, 2021) have reached $1.2 billion.

The volume of Iran’s agricultural products exports reached 2.4 million tonne worth $1.22 billion during the first three months of this year, registering 17.3 % increase in volume and 1.1% decrease in value compared to the same period last year.

The most important agricultural exports were pistachios, watermelons, tomatoes, apples, oranges, traditional milk powder, melons and cocoa-free sweets.

The leading importers of Iranian agricultural products over the period were Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, India, China, Russia, Pakistan and Germany
